After years in the making a rehabbed building and restaurant open for business in the North Loop of Downtown Minneapolis. The building, NoLo Warehouse, located on North 1st St sits near the Federal Reserve building. For quite some time the owner was an eccentric older gentleman who sold in 2008 to the Dayton brothers, Eric and Andrew. They leveraged the experience of local architect James Dayton to rehab the building which is nearly complete. The brothers recently opened a new restaurant called Bachler’s Farmer complete with a speakeasy like bar in the basement of the building called Marvel Bar. Ironically few details and photos have emerged from the establishment at the request of the restaurants PR firm. In our day and age of almost total transparency this comes as a surprise yet forces anyone who is interested to stop by for themselves and check out the scene, menu and beverages. Make a date online as this new hotspot is about to get busy real fast.
